Put Threads and Spoutible in the mix...you quickly realize X is becoming a social media ghost town.

@bryanruby I cross-posted for several months in 2022 and eventually just stopped. It wasn't the hedge I thought I needed, with Mastodon turning out to be an unexpectedly verdant ecosystem (this hadn't been the case in 2017 when I originally dipped my toe in). I ended up just dropping X completely in November 2022 and haven't looked back.
@rdp I still have some work needs to be on X. However, winding down the personal connections in 2024 is the goal.
@bryanruby I totally get it. I have similar feelings about Chrome, which I have to use for work. I'm trying to figure out a way to ditch it for good next year as well. Best of luck!
