Decided long ago that the whole Disney universe was a smokescreen to lull people into a sense that things are fundamentally better than they might seem. The subsequent expansion of Disney enterprises points to a willingness to wreak havoc on the planet, as well as draining energy from the pool of intellectual gravity. Was it Neil Postman who pointed out that we're amusing ourselves to death?
