I really wish the NWS offices were here and not just Twitter, especially since you can't view their weather emergency posts there without a twitter account. This is a matter of public safety during severe weather situations.
@bryanruby@me.dm@sbourne Speaking only for myself and off-duty, it is my hope too that the NWS comes to recognize if they want to have a presence in social media...it needs to include more than Facebook and Twitter. I'm a believer that the fediverse and ActivityPub is a great choice for any government entity to be on if they want to reach out to the public via social media. #wx #wxmastodon
