Another demoness / tiefling-type to add to the collection, rising from the crater created by her own summoning.

Tried to go dramatic with the background and colouring, but can't decide if it's a little too busy.

I really should think of some kind of project to make use of all these character designs I've been making—like a visual novel or something.

Random Update 9/3/2025

  • I’m still alive. I’m not just some Greenland Diaries and Beware the Ills posting robot emerging from the dust and unused folders of my desktop. I swear I share other things on here. I’m not just mindlessly promoting for my own selfishness. I mean I am that nefarious, but such is the social media landscape of our epoch. I conform to the monstrosities of self promotion.
  • Crypticon is coming up. It’ll have its own separate post on here and everything. I’m excited to be there. Hard for me to afford to do it these days, but I’ll try and make it happen in the future. You can learn more about that event right here.
  • Like I said above (and it is time to return to my mindless self-promotion loophole that the saturated media environment dictates) Beware the Ills is getting posted in its entirety every Friday. You don’t need to buy the book or anything. I’m publishing the whole thing on here. Piece by piece. It’ll run for about a year. It is all scheduled and ready to go. This is a fantastic book. I’m just happy to share it. You can read it right here.
  • New bit of Greenland Diaries flash fiction I published on here. It is called “In the Rain” and it is one of my FAVORITE pieces of flash fiction I’ve written thus far from this apocalyptic universe. It is from the POV of the Unnamed (you know I love a monster perspective) and it is protecting a pack of puppies from the rain. You can read it right here.
  • And yes, I am publishing the Greenland Diaries one day at a time every Monday. I know I’ve done this before in some capacity or another. I’m doing it again. The story is freshly revised and it is just sitting there. I might as well share some of it with you awesome people. These monsters are legendary. I’m happy to share them. Read it here.
  • Recently, my poem “The Feeding” was published my Zoetic Press and produced on their podcast for you to listen to it. They did a fantastic job with it, and it was as tremendous honor for me. Check out their many amazing publications and my featured work right here.
  • A second Greenland Diaries flash fiction piece I released called “Counting Bullets” was published last week on here. This one is about two teenagers trying to move on from the cataclysm of the Drum and how they must live within this new “life” situation of sorts. You can read it right here.
  • I was lucky enough to do a interview about life and writing with Jonathan Pongratz. He is an excellent writer as well. We had a great conversation. You can read that interview right here.   • Free book promotions should return at some point. I don’t know how, when, or even really why? Haha. No, I love sharing my work, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to do it.
  • What am I watching? Finally caught up on Demonslayer. I’m VERY excited for the new movie coming out. Looking forward to the Infinity Castle Arc. We’re onto My Hero Academia. After that, it’ll be Chainsaw Man to get ready for the new movie.
  • Any suggestions for long form horror tv shows? We’re on the way to spooky season. Let me know in the comments below if you have any suggestions.
  • What am I reading? A few different things. A collection of Arthur C. Clark stories. A Life Worth Living, which is a book by Marsha Linehan. I Hate You, Don’t Leave Me. And yeah, a book of poetry by Anne Sexton.
  • What am I playing? Same old stuff I suppose. Tears of the Kingdom. Final Fantasy 7: Rebirth. The new Donkey Kong game for Switch 2. And, Crypt of the Necrodancer. Haha. Yeah, I’m stuck in a rut.
  • Went and watched the movie Weapons. Really good. A multi-genre horror film that is both absurd and terrifying. Really good. Scary movies get to me, even though I write horror. Existence is full of paradoxes.
  • I’m all done. That was a lot. Thank you for all the support. If you’ve read my work, please review it. If you’re going to buy my books, do it through my Square Store. I will keep going. I can’t seem to stop, despite how hard it has been. Stay healthy, and stay safe!
