@DarkOptimism The myth of self " Independence "
Really like this post saw:

Some excerpts and picture remix of the #myth as I see it to make you think about more real "independence"...: not just #employment / #military style economics as " #job " / economic hitmen.
#1 Economy is not voluntary
" ...the #economy is seen as a big collection of individuals who voluntarily choose to trade stuff. "
#2 Not really connected
"As you walk through city streets past strangers who ignore you, or drift through shops looking at ten different brands of shampoo, there’s a general feeling of detachment."
#Independence doesn't exist. It's not a #selfsufficient island or even voluntary for #emotional / #physical needs which should be the focus (not making #money / manufacturing #manipulation / increasing prices instead of decreasing / #sharing it all / connecting #people more on #emotional level for #healthy #society).

EMPLOYED:
not really social
or independent
depressed
over-worked..
workaholic-ism
not really #healthy
individual or society
#primitive, #material #system
as housing etc prices go up
UNEMPLOYED (just more detached)
( same as above but sometimes happier / less dragged into #unhealthy system(s) )
