2004 is probably the greatest year in video games ever (look it up, it's wild everything that came out that year, and RE4 just barely missed at Jan 11 2005), but it seems to have been a pretty good year in other media too (movies include Shaun of the Dead, Kill Bill 2, Spiderman 2, Saw, The Incredibles, etc, anime include Samurai Champloo, Samurai 7, Futari wa Pretty Cure, Maria Watches Over Us, etc)
