In particular, VanLandingham said, turning #MilitaryLawyers into #ImmigrationJudges would likely violate the #PosseComitatusAct, a federal #law that bars US troops from participating in #civilian #LawEnforcement or “executing the laws,” unless otherwise authorized to do so by the #Constitution or #Congress.
