We're thinking of doing some small RNA sequencing. We've got the library preps down and have done it many times in the past. But those past experiments were when we could still get 1x50 or so reads on a HiSeq3000 or 4000.

Anyone have advice on what platforms will still run shorter reads? I think the NextSeq might, but I don't know. All the old machines are being sunsetted and the Novas are mostly longer, paired reads.
