Autumn equinox in Rehberge park in Berlin, third and last, for now, post.

With monochrome developing, lense flare fascination, and a bit of close-up.
I love the interplay of celestial bodies, plant life and death, technological artefacts – and if you look precisely, there are traces of animal life in the second shot too.

This year, the season of autumn arrived on 22 September, but the actual equinox in the UK occurred at 19:19 BST, so the sun had already set.
That meant the first sunrise and sunset of autumn happened the day after on 23 September.
I didn't manage to catch the first sunrise of the new season, but I did capture the first sunset.
This was the view this from Sunderland's Noble's Quay on the banks of the River Wear in North East England.
Love how at the spring and autumnal equinox the sun sets behind Wearmouth Bridge from this viewpoint.

Summer: We went for an excursion in Zrmanja gorge & a swim in gorgeous (!) river

Autumn: all human guests are gone - time for puh (dormouse) to reclaim the lodge for itself ; I plucked wild fruit & cooked compot :)
