Wide-footed Treehopper (Enchenopa latipes)...they do move in herds 🥹🤣
I know it's no secret how obsessed I am with these hoppers, so much in fact that I'm about to become the top observer for them globally on @inaturalistorg and will not be stopped because I can't get enough of them! 🤪🦕

Another really kickass #bug I saw in my client's garden this afternoon. At first I thought it was an injured bumblebee because it has similar coloring.

It was crawling around in the mulch by the brick walkway and it climbed up a piece of mulch and flipped over on its back, so I flipped it back over and it thought I was trying to eat it.

I promised it that I was not a predator.

A close-up of a beetle-like bug that is about an inch long and 3/4 of an inch cross. The top of the bug is yellow and has a black spot on its back, very similar to a bumblebee, and then the back of the bug which I assume are wings is crinkly and is all black. It has a cute little black noggin and cute little black fuzzy antennae. It is sitting on a red brick.
Oh no! The beetle flipped over trying to crawl up a piece of mulch that is next to it in this photo! It is upside down on the brick patio And it's underside is completely black.
