Almost forgot #AlphabetChallenge #WeekGforGlass! I was experimenting with shutter speeds during a recent rainstorm to get a rain streak I liked. This was 1/640s.

One more photo for today. A beautiful #sunset captured #MainStreet that I think fits the bill for the #AlphabetChallenge and #WeekFisForFire this week.

A flock of swallows is perched at dawn on the horizontal stainless-steel wires of the riverwalk fence, looking like notes on ledger lines. The fence has periodic thicker vertical posts which look like bar marks, giving the conceit that it's the scoring for a piece of music to be sung by the swallows.

Two saltwater crocodiles in muddy water. One is very large and mostly submerged. The other is smaller, and has extended its head out of the water, showing its throat to the larger crocodile. This is a submissive gesture, as the smaller, younger croc has infringed on the adult's territory. It didn't work. Instants later the adult attacked, but the juvenile was quick enough to escape.

A golden beach fills the foreground looking left, but the scene is very dim and dull as the sky is completely filled with dark grey clouds. The sea is agitated and a dirty green, and running down to meet it in the middle distance is a sparsely treed headland, very dark in the murky light. Some way off there is a black dog running towards the waves, oblivious to all of this.
