An MVP is the smallest possible thing you can build to prove the viability of a product idea. It is the starting point of iteration. Valve put together the MVP for Half Life in a week, which is about right. It is not ver 1.0 of your product.
@allenholub Because I don’t believe that “viability” is the characteristic which influences whether a minimalistic prototype construction will be successful in a market, I reframe it as “MDP” or Most Delightful Product.
