From the khutbah today, we learned that as Muslims our brotherhood involves assuming the best of one another; to not try to dig to uncover each others sins. That by covering the sins of your brother Allah will cover yours.

Why does this make sense? Because we want to avoid backbiting and or normalizing sins, we want to always assume the best of people where reasonable
