I have never emotionally recovered from how bad ‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’ was.

I also just realized that the movie completely erases the existence of Steven Parent, an 18-year-old kid who visited the housekeeper of 10050 Cielo Drive that evening, ran into the Manson Family as he was leaving the house, and was the first of the victims to be killed.

His parents only discovered what had happened to him when a policeman showed up to their front door the following day and handed them the phone number to the local morgue.

This is yet another example of how much Tarantino exploited the Tate murders and trivialized the subject of the Manson Family in order to make a two and a half hour long vanity project.
