Meanwhile in America… this is why CEOs get shot.
@aral@mastodon.ar.al I genuinely can't view this because reddit is a garbage platform not built for humans anymore, and they block my browser and network, and block people without an account in a lot of cases now, but I'm sure whatever this was it's damning lmao
@froge @aral A surgeon had been called out of surgery because some United Healthcare jackass "needed to know" if the cancer patient she was operating on needed to stay overnight.
Info he could have gotten from another UH department instead of putting the patient at risk (being sedated for longer than necessary).
Awful, awful people in a horrible system.
@aral Shooting the CEOs, while they deserve it, will not solve the problem. We need to kill their income by nationalizing health care.
@glennsills @aral
Yep. Might feel good, won't solve anything. There's another one right behind that dude.
@glennsills @aral Eh shooting CEOs builds class consciousness which leads to nationalizing healthcare, its still worth it in the long run, we saw how basically the entire working class supported the unitedhealthcare ceo shooter luigi lol
@aral On this note: start popping their emails and publishing the most murderous things they've written, alongside their names and faces.
@cybercow this is both true and works toward stopping people from making the point that there is a extinction level problem in a simple and communicative manner. Basically a "all lives matter" slogan passing as a smart remark.
@aral Absolutely disgusting and they want the UK to go private and do away with the NHS. Greed over People!
@aral don’t make us click the link, Aral
@aral We should shoot more CEOs
