being absolutely honest here i really hate toolbars.
the value of having such a bar however is for people to quickly get to the content and the majority of people that have had the 'facebook' entry point to media and the internet in general will understand the 'bar at the bottom' to interact with the site so for the moment it stays in the hope that the extra information will be useful to the masses.
the additional features that the toolbar brings with translation, google connect and some other twitter functionality is pretty neat, actually very similar to something i am working on for video as a plugin for blogs. more on that soon after the mockup is tested.
