So i thought seeing as i was rebuilding parts/elements of the rezpondr system with dmitry over the last 10 days i thought about looking at fixing up my blog. I have done quite a lot on it and had it sliced by a wizard css slider guy that always does a good job. I have no patience or time for messing around with hacks for IE. Too much stuff to get involved in to worry about all that stuff. Anyway here are some the cool things the new site will enable! :)
- upgraded to MT 4.25 so i can play with the new "motion" stuff
- custom flash logo/animation - random clip from archives across the web.
- "one place" embed with custom skin for my main places i publish media
- custom s3 bucket picture/video/banner system (fast!) for rapid blog highlights
- custom rezpondr embed built on api/rss feeds into flv player with skin on main site
- much more lightweight
- all images are served from s3 (later to switch on cloudfront on the bucket)
- livestream works nicer with some cool jquery slidedown effects for grouping lots of posts
I expect the new site to go live before the end of the week. Should make getting in touch, finding my media and give you a sneak peek of the plugin you can use on your very own blog via rezpondr.
