So i was just reading this great post over on connectedinternet about petabyte storage and the last comment on the graphic that mozy give out says that 50 petabyte would be enough space to "store the entire written works of mankind, from the beginning of recorded history, in all languages" - the first thing that popped into my mind is will it be the case that in the future the devices that we will have access to learning and training will be as easy as self loading a nintendo style cart into our neural pathways.   Can you imagine the first human with on demand access to the whole works of the world? - a real life doctor manhattan style character of a person instead of nucleur abilities those of intense decision making situations based on the art of words from everything that this planet has ever understood.   Now put that in the hands of the likes of a skynet style system of terminator origins style supercomputer systems.

all your base are belong to us.   you have no chance to survive make your time.
