So after feeling so buzzed up about the idea of "change" in general and after watching hotdog media and the weekly WITH ONIONS show (a british show with @spidernix and @loudmouthman i came up with an idea of CASTCAMP. A monthly gather with no travel required (thumbs up for eco) and all from your favorite armchair (bring your own booze) Utilizing rezpondr / eventca.st and the tools that small content producers like to use.
So the concept initially is pretty simple, find 24 people that want to do an hour show who are spread out globally (or 12 people that want to broadcast two shows within 24hrs) and have an online mini tv station full event guide and auto switching to the different streaming platforms. One of the main reasons i have been working on livestreaming intergration for rezpondr and testing the netbook setup for my move to ustream (most stable system out there but did not have the feature i want - so i had to find another way) is for this very reason alone. Building another level of interactive features into what our system already does makes the event management more usable.
So, i'm looking for people from anywhere in the world that already do a tech show, or a maybe some kind of weekly show where you do your thing for 30 minutes, hour or willing to do 2 1hr slots in a 24hr time window. I think this would be a good work out for the rezpondr / eventca.st system and a really good use of the technology and highlight how we can use this for future events and streaming. The show needs to be a live show.
