Strange funky title huh? - not sure why or when i decided, maybe last week when i was reading How Do Geeks Get In Shape & 13 Tips To Get Started Running but it was only yesterday after talking with @orchid8 that has been doing another regime that i actually decided to start.

getting "started" is always the hardest i find in exercise. We know we need to do it, we know how snappy it makes us - we feel good, meals taste better - hard work always feels good to me, convenience makes us lazy. I got back this morning feeling buzzed, snappy - i had an egg/ham on toast and it was wonderful - not just fuel but wonderful. I had deserved it, i made my daughter breakfast and prepared sams (not that i do not normally) and felt organized. excited.
I only ran maybe a quarter of it, i am really unfit - im going to keep a log of the running of how i feel very quickly each morning on seesmic and share them with you here, i'm thinking actually that if i embed as a widget i can just keep updating that and have it in my sidebar on the blog too (thanks seesmic!)
So, just wanted to say props to @orchid8 and loic for his blog entry over on his site and to it @loudmouthman @danacea and @documentally for the words of encouragement - something like fitness is a hard one to start but i have made the breakthrough i needed.
update - installing sporttracker on my nokia n95. It's up and running finally over here but the website seems to not want to display some data. I have found that i need to launch the gps app in tools first to activate the gps tracking then load the sport tracker software. Also, i do not see how i can get the map to display on my profile page. I have clicked on the day work out and i can see it has uploaded some information. Still playing.
